Government Concerned about New Prosperity Mine Proposal
Both federal and provincial government experts have deep concerns with the New "Prosperity" Mine proposal. The issues raised by these experts during the CEAA Panel hearings are in regard to the deteriorating Fish Lake water quality and unproven "aquarium" lake recirculation proposal; the long-term liabilities to taxpayers and the questionable economics of the project; the risks to the Taseko River and other nearby lakes. The threat recognized by these experts add up to so many reasons why New "Prosperity" approval must be denied again. Information from various government departments reflecting these concerns can be found HERE.Posted by: Admin. Monday Aug 19, 2013 16:50
